Apollo Savanna is adorned by a vast expanse of golden colored grasses, accompanied by various other shrubby plants. Generally an open land, acacia trees are spread widely across the fields, speckling the flaxen hued land in random places. Apollo Savanna is always warm, frequently hot, and never gets snow. Instead, the rainy season replaces what would normally be a winter. During the wet season, the herds are returning. There is an annual migration twice a year, and the migration can be used to account for what season one is in.
